H1N1 ("swine") flu shots are now available, and the disease is here, too. Walk-in times are Wednesdays 10-12 am and Fridays 2-4 pm. Those at high risk (mostly younger patients) should come in now. Others should wait 2-4 weeks. Seasonal flu shots are still NOT available here.

Flu shots: Delivery of regular seasonal flu shots has been delayed. Other providers have them available, but getting it later in the season is fine. I will be getting the H1N1 2009 flu shots, but how much supply will be available is still unknown.
September 19, 2009
December closures: The office will be closed for a conference December 7-10, for Christmas December 25, and for vacation December 29 to January 1. I will remain available by telephone.

There are plenty of questions about flu shots this year. Regular flu shots should be here in a few weeks and are recommended for everyone. The new H1N109 flu shots should be available within 2 months, and I am asking to be able to provide them. Watch here or for e-mails for updates.

While new patients are being accepted, new patient appointments are 10 weeks away, and they are all full at times. Please call for availability.
